About This Opportunity
This year’s event will be taking place in Brampton on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
- On-site photographer will capture the day’s event
- This will include team photos, group photos, event participants and attendees, activities, booths, ceremonies, special moments, action shots
Why we need you
It is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in support of the senior community in Peel Region to alleviate social isolation, and provide information on services, activities, and resources designed to enhance the well-being and quality of life for seniors.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this volunteer role has:
- Be 19+ years of age Photography experience
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a photography diploma program
- Photography camera equipment (camera, lenses, etc.) an asset
- A positive and outgoing attitude
- Punctual and reliable Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills
- Long periods of standing and walking during the event
- Shift: 8:30am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-4:30pm, and/or all day (8:30am-4:30pm with a lunch break)
- Must have a fully charged, operative cell phone with them (for assistance/guidance that may arise during the event)
