About This Opportunity

Sept 18 from 6-8:15, CNIB Bingo at the CNIB located at 1929 Bayview at the cafeteria or in the conference room directly after the cafeteria on the left-hand side. Avenue. Volunteers are asked to be at the location from 5:30 to approximately 8:30. Volunteers are to help participants with their bingo games, call the bingo numbers, and help distribute refreshments during the break. We are looking for at least 4 volunteers.

CCB Toronto Visionaries is a local chapter of the Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB), a national registered charity. Chartered as a CCB chapter in 2013, the CCB Toronto Visionaries is dedicated to breaking the isolation that so often accompanies vision loss, encouraging members to be inspired by their peers, to building supportive social networks through sharing information and engaging in a wide range of social and recreational activities. We are looking for volunteers to act as support people for individuals with visual impairments. We currently hold a wide variety of social activities and events, including Pub Nights, Bowling, Walkathons, Bus Trips, etc,).
