Reimagine Agriculture is looking for a Volunteer Fundraising Lead who can help us secure funding for our organization. The position will involve supporting grant and foundation requests and developing other fundraising opportunities.
Description
Reimagine Agriculture works to systemically address pressing food systems issues like food waste and conventional animal agriculture.
This role will focus on supporting our Fundraising team in growing our annual budget, developing new fundraising opportunities and enabling greater consistency in year-over-year funding. The position will primarily involve writing materials required by grantors, but also enabling creative ideas on revenue generation.
This unpaid volunteer position is 7-10 hours per week and will work alongside the Executive Director, President, Operations Assistant and Fundraising team.
Requirements:
- Professional writing skills
- Creative individual who can develop creative fundraising opportunities
- Organized and proactive
- Dedication to transforming the food system
Preferred:
- Related experience (e.g. fundraising, business development, donor relations)
- Education in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, public relations, marketing, non-profit management)
