Stevens-Johnson Syndrome Canada is a non-profit Charity that aims to promote health by providing people suffering from Stevens Johnson Syndrome and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (SJS/TEN) as well as their families and caregivers with access to related counselling, support groups and information programs.
The President, a survivor of SJS/TEN founded this organization about 10 years ago. The intention is to promote education by providing workshops, forums and seminars about the disease and its effects, to the public and medical professionals.
The Volunteer Marketing and Communications Coordinator will assist in promoting SJS Canada’s programs, mission, and events by supporting the development and implementation of effective marketing and communication strategies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, community engagement, and creating a positive impact. This role involves creating content, managing media outreach, coordinating events, and helping to amplify the organization's message across multiple platforms.
