Our thrift stores, events, and programs aim to support a diverse range of community members, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and people with diverse abilities. 

Position Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to join our team as our Inflatable Unicorn Mascot! As our mascot, you will play a key role in engaging with the community at various events and in front of our Port Coquitlam location. This fun and exciting volunteer opportunity is perfect for those who enjoy bringing joy to others and being a positive ambassador for our organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Wear the inflatable unicorn mascot costume at events and in front of our Port Coquitlam location. 
• Interact with community members, especially children, to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. 
• Assist in promoting Low Entropy's Thrift Stores and various community programs. 
• Take part in photo opportunities with event attendees. 
• Help distribute flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials as needed. 
• Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while in costume. 

Requirements: 

• Must be comfortable wearing an inflatable mascot costume for 2 to 4-hour shifts (with flexible breaks). 
• Ability to interact positively with people of all ages and backgrounds. 
• Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills. 
• Physically able to stand and move around in the costume for extended periods. 
• Shift Details: Shifts range from 2 to 4 hours, depending on your comfort level. 
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.
