About This Opportunity

This opportunity is best suited for people interested in gaining experiencing towards careers in social services, health care and criminal justice. 

Volunteers involved in our program will complete outbound telephone calls to vulnerable clients who struggle with isolation, trauma, mental health, addictions and more. This is an opportunity to develop their conversation skills as well as their ability to practice basic counselling and case management. 

Training for the role is a combination of independent readings, group work and then 1 on 1 staff training. 

Additional opportunities for employment and advanced training are provided to volunteers as they become available.
