SUMMARY:
ALDO is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Treasurer to oversee financial operations
and ensure accountability and transparency. This position reports to the Board
and collaborates with the management team to track donations, manage budgets,
and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting
background and a passion for nonprofit work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage organizational budgets, financial records, and donation tracking
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support financial planning and strategy
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations
- Assist the Board with financial insights for fundraising and operations
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all financial matters
- Attend regular team meetings and provide updates on campaign progress
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:
- Background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Passion for supporting children’s education initiatives
