About This Opportunity
Carousel is Vancouver's home for young people and the adults in their lives and we rely on our dynamic team of volunteer ushers to help with patron seating. We require a minimum of 2 ushers for each of our presentations, helping orient patrons in the lobby, helping them find their way to their seats, guarding the set and stairs as young patrons move in and out of the theatre, assisting patrons to leave/return to their seats during performances.
We are seeking Volunteer Ushers for our Holiday presentation of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" running December 4-15 at the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island (1412 Cartwright Street)
As an organization serving young people, are performances are predominantly in the mornings and early afternoons. Shifts are as follows:
Tuesday-Saturday 9 am to 12 pm / 11 am to 2 pm (December 4-7, December 10-14)
Sunday: December 8: 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm / 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, December 15: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm / 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
