About This Opportunity
Objective:
The Meals on Wheels program (MOW), is intended to help those in our Windsor Community who are in need of nutritious meals.

Position Description:
DRIVER: To transport a server to bring Meals on Wheels, to client's homes, on a specific route
SERVER: To deliver meals to client homes on a specific route
Volunteers meet at the Unemployed Help Centre, 6955 Cantelon Drive, to pick up meals and return meal bags.
Qualifications: Must be physically be able to carry meal bags. Must be: Reliable, Punctual, Pleasant and Enjoys working with the public. No previous experience required.
Duties/Responsibilities: Ensure car is in good repair. Collect meals from facility. Transport meals and servers to client's homes. Report to supervisor any concerns regarding client's well being. Maintain client confidentiality. Return bags and route sheet to facility. Display Meals on Wheels sign on vehicle.
Time Commitment: Approximately 2 shifts per month is required & appreciated
(Flexibility according to volunteer's schedule)
