About This Opportunity

The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s (WFA) is a national fundraising event which takes place the last weekend in May. On this weekend, 150 communities across Canada come together with a common purpose; to raise funds and awareness for local Alzheimer’s Societies across the country. Toronto will host its Walk on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Downsview Park, where we will welcome over 1,000 attendees. Dementia has touched many lives, and our Walks provide the opportunity for our local community to get involved by fundraising, volunteering, and sharing their story.

*This is Event Day Volunteer Interest only.  Some roles take place prior to event day, while others occur on Walk day.  Upon registration, please indicate your role preferences.  Shift timing details will be provided by May 2026, with volunteer shifts running approximately 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please select a minimum of two roles.  Volunteers will be placed where support in most needed.  Volunteer Lead will begin reaching out in early May to confirm roles and shift timing.  Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee placement in your preferred area as opportunities available in each area may vary.
