About This Opportunity
The Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is currently looking for volunteers for our 4th Annual Robert Davidson Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis happening September 20, 2025 at TooGood Pond Park. There are various opportunities for volunteering with us for this event such as; viewing and providing insight into event location, sourcing local vendors, community outreach, sponsorship leads and connections, event logistics and event day set up/tear down. Volunteers will meet regularly with staff to support various aspects of the event with time commitments that include; attending monthly meetings (1 hour), 2- 4 hours per month for event planning, promotion and sourcing local vendors, meeting with staff on the Friday before the event as well as attending on event day. The commitment will depend on your availability and what capacity you want to volunteer. We will work with you and the time you have to give. No experience required! We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate people with strong organizational and communication skills who want to make a difference in their community and a drive to help. When you participate in the Hope Walk, you are joining a group of passionate people with a shared goal of bringing hope and support to people living with pulmonary fibrosis.
