About This Opportunity
In the coming months, JIAS will be responsible for the support of dozens of refugee families. JIAS volunteers are essential in supporting these vulnerable newcomers and we urgently need your help.
This is a call for time-sensitive volunteer support to be a Welcome Circle volunteer.
JIAS Welcome Circles are teams of volunteers that are matched with an individual or family of newcomers. Volunteers provide social and day-to-day support. Teams of 5-8 volunteers are matched with a newcomer individual or family to provide coordinated, essential support for newcomers for 3-4 months.
