Position Description We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to facilitate our weekly yoga or gentle exercise classes each week for our clients with disabilities. As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in yoga, mediation, breath work, or other fitness activities that you are trained in to promote health and wellness in a supportive environment. About CPLF Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) is a charitable organization supporting people with disabilities at work, at home, and in the community. Since our establishment in 1989, we’ve been committed to creating an inclusive community where individuals with disabilities achieve independence, fulfillment, and autonomy. Duties and Responsibilities This role involves demonstrating patience and understanding in the following duties: Teach various mindfulness techniques, such as yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. Guide participants in developing mindfulness practices that promote self-awareness, stress reduction, and emotional regulation. Provide personalized coaching and support to help individuals integrate fitness into their daily lives. Create and implement yoga programs tailored to the needs of our clients. Monitor progress and provide feedback to clients to support their journey.
