About This Opportunity

York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES Fun Fair Booth Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing. 


The YRES LEGO Fair Booth Assistant is responsible for: 

- Arriving independently to the event on-time and in professional attire 

- Confidently greeting and conversing with visitors at our booth

- Facilitate Lego robotics workshop activities to individual learning levels

- Helping count, set-up and take down inventory items that were brought

- Providing feedback on the event


Location: 

Pine Grove Public School, 86 Gamble St, Woodbridge, ON L4L 1R3


Date & Time: 

Friday, June 5, 6:00PM-8:00PM


Shift: TBD-8:10PM

Who We're Looking For: 

- Minimum age: 12 

- Able to independently arrive to work on time 

- Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn 

- Can commit to scheduled time of the shift

- Fluency in English

- Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
