Scarborough Health Network (SHN) Foundation is proud to partner with the Rama Gaming House for their Charity Gaming program. A portion of the proceeds from the monthly charity Bingo sessions are granted back to SHN Foundation to support lifesaving health care. 

Volunteers help support our hospital, generating $1,000 per session. We are proud partners since 2020 and look forward to having our volunteers represent SHN Foundation at the Rama Toronto East Hall. 

We are seeking long-term committed, volunteers to assist with these charity sessions and represent SHN Foundation, on a monthly basis. All sessions are two hours long. Volunteers must attend in-person sessions. Volunteers must give 24 hour notice if they cannot show up for their shift. There are financial repercussions when volunteers do not attend their shift.  

Location: Rama Gaming House – Toronto East (991 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, ON M1P 2K5)

Duties: 

• Arrive 15 minutes early for each session
• Greet and welcome patrons 
• Assist with set up and tear down bingo sessions, as required 
• Light food service support to customers 
• Handing out materials to customers 

Requirements: 

• Must be 19 years of age or older 
• Must have access to reliable transportation 
• Must be able to attend in-person sessions 
• Must be able to be on feet for a couple hours at a time 
• Completion of a mandatory online training session, along with an in-person orientation 
• Must abide by dress code
