Bingo World Volunteer: 

Following the training to work in the Richmond Hill Bingo World,  you will work with an experienced volunteer .  Duties include:

Volunteer Roles

1. Greeter / Customer Service

• Welcome patrons as they enter.

• Answer basic questions about the event layout and amenities.

• Direct players to the appropriate areas (e.g., sales desk, restrooms, seating).

2. Floor Walker

• Monitor the floor for cleanliness and safety.

• Assist patrons in finding seats or locating facilities.

• Be alert to any concerns and report them to staff.

3. Sales Support (if applicable)

• Assist licensed staff at the bingo paper or ticket sales area.

• Never handle cash or financial transactions directly unless authorized.

• Restock and organize supplies as needed.

4. Compliance Assistant

• Ensure patrons are not using unauthorized materials.

• Watch for signs of gambling issues or misconduct and report discreetly.

• Understand and follow local gaming regulations.

🚫 What NOT to Do

• Do not play bingo or purchase any gaming materials during your shift.

• Do not handle cash (unless assigned and trained).

• Do not use your phone while on duty (except for emergencies).

• Do not argue with patrons — defer to Bingo World staff.
