About This Opportunity
The volunteer opportunity is primarily cleaning. Cat cuddling and grooming are important, but the priority is for the cats to have a clean environment and be fed and watered. FRFA needs consistent, reliable volunteers that can commit to a minimum of a four hour shift once a week and we prefer a minimum three month commitment. Duties include cleaning (cages, floors, litter boxes, cat trees), and cat care (feeding, meds, grooming). Exact duties would depend of the individual applicant. You would get a thorough, but gentle, workout- no need to go to the gym.
Flexible hours (4 hours per week minimum, with a three month minimum commitment), great people to work with in an inclusive welcoming community. And of course, there are cats!
This opportunity is best suited to those with their own transportation, or who regularly take Calgary Transit.
Training / mentoring provided.
