We are looking for volunteers to assist with our food bank by sorting and distributing food, so that we can help our community members achieve a level of food security.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Activities include sorting food items, checking for any open packages & dents, checking "Best Before" and "Expiry Dates" 
• Packaging of food hampers / donation bags 
• Zero contact distribution to our distribution site for our foodbank beneficiaries & community 
• Interact with food bank clients in need of weekly food support. Interactions include checking in clients and being a line ambassador

Desired Qualifications:

• Motivated and punctual 
• Committed and passionate in helping others 
• Good communication skills 
• Enjoys serving and interacting with clients

Additional Details:

• Immediate Start Date 
• Time Commitment: 2-4 hrs/week 
• Wednesdays 12pm PST to 3 PM PST)
  
• Minimum commitment of 3 months is required.
