About This Opportunity
This volunteer role provides an opportunity to create greener spaces and to promote a pleasant indoor environment for our residents, participants and staff.
Key Accountabilities:
- monitoring/caring for indoor plants and flowers in the building. This includes watering, trimming, and transplanting when necessary.
- Familiarity with standard indoor and tropical plants
- patient, positive disposition and willingness to help others.
- good, clear communication skills with the ability to take directions.
- ability to maintain conversation while maintaining professional boundaries.
- familiarity with geriatrics and/or vulnerable populations an asset.
