About This Opportunity

Do you enjoy helping others grow as leaders, building strong teams, or creating engaging group experiences? Join Toastmasters for Seniors: Effective Leadership and Teamwork Skills as a Leadership & Team Building Assistant Volunteer and support older adults as they explore what it means to lead, collaborate, and thrive in a supportive, interactive environment!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in facilitation, group dynamics, and event coordination while making a meaningful impact on the lives of senior learners.

What You’ll Do:

- Assist facilitators during leadership and team-building workshops and activities

- Help set up and guide small group exercises, role plays, and collaborative challenges

- Encourage participation, communication, and cooperation among attendees

- Provide support, direction, and positive feedback as participants explore leadership roles

- Contribute to a warm, respectful environment where seniors feel confident to lead and work together

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn! Ideal candidates will meet the following:

✔ Age between 12 - 30
✔ Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills
✔ Commitment to completing basic training
✔ Fluent in English
✔ Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18)



Bonus Skills

✔ Experience volunteering or working with older adults
✔ Fluency or strong proficiency in a language other than English
