About This Opportunity

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making math a fun, engaging experience? Join Math Elites + U Camp as a Mentor Assistant Volunteer and help guide students in Grades 4 -6 as they explore problem-solving, logic, and teamwork in a supportive environment!

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with kids while contributing to a fun, purpose-driven math enrichment program.

What You’ll Do:

- Assist lead mentors in facilitating math activities and workbook sessions
- Encourage students to participate and stay engaged during group learning
- Support students who need extra guidance or encouragement
- Help with classroom logistics such as distributing materials, setting up activities, and managing transitions
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel welcome and supported

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn! Ideal candidates will meet the following:

✔ Age between 12 - 30
✔ Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills
✔ Commitment to completing basic training
✔ Fluent in English
✔ Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18)



Bonus Skills

✔ Experience working with children in school, camps, tutoring, or other youth programs
✔ Fluency or strong proficiency in a language other than English
