About This Opportunity
Reimagine Agriculture is looking for an Outreach Assistant for an exciting new project focused on diet change among youth, parents and the health and wellness communities.
This role requires you to seek out and connect with members of these audiences to participate in our digital education campaign to encourage the normalization of plant-focused diets in line with evidence-based nutrition and wellness science.
As an outreach assistant, you will work alongside ReAg’s Executive Director and Outreach team. This unpaid volunteer position has a required commitment of 3 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Strong passion to connect diverse audiences to the food system and diet change
- Strong written communicator and enjoys connecting with new people
- Organized and proactive
- Awareness of relevant events and communities to broaden Reag’s reach
Preferred:
- Lived experience as a parent or part of the health and wellness community
- Related experience and education in relevant fields including marketing, community organizing, communications, etc
- Experience with social media and video editing
