About This Opportunity
The 11 acre park contains a rhododendron ravine, small waterway, sunken garden, two ponds, covered picnic area and multiple benches. This is the environment you will be working in.
Work is limited to manual jobs, tools are provided. Typical chores are deadheading, weeding, mulching, raking and watering. You will work alongside a trained horticulturist and/or volunteer coordinator who will provide direction.
The work season is March through October on Wednesday mornings from 9-12, weather permitting.
You will be open to learning about the plants in the park and follow the guidance provided. There is no time commitment required, volunteers show up as they are able on Wednesday mornings.
