About This Opportunity
Our Summer Reading Tent and Summer Camp programs aim to promote a love of reading during the summer months in a fun and engaging way. Focusing on literacy in a broad sense (reading, writing, listening, and storytelling), the team engages children in enjoyable and inclusive activities based on diverse learning styles and reading levels. Reading Tent sessions use themes such as the environment, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts, and social-emotional learning to engage learners in crafts, reading circles, and movement-based activities. Participants select a free book to take home at the end.
